Dear Dancing Soul,

This is not just a training. It’s a turning point.
A recalibration of how you listen, lead, and loveβ€”through movement, music, and embodied trust.

This training is for you if:

  •  You feel called to move beyond drop-in classes into a deeper, more embodied way of holding space.

  • You know that music can open portals and you want to learn how to guide with clarity and care.

  • You long to understand how to work with the nervous system, energy, and the unseen dynamics of the dance floor.

  • You’re ready to lead from your body not from performance, but from presence.

  • You want to offer movement spaces that are trauma-informed, inclusive, and deeply transformational

  • You desire to grow your voice, your vision, and your capacity to hold space with integrity.

TESTIMONIALS FROM GRADUATES

β€œExceeded my wildest expectations! Before finding this training, I thought something like this only existed in my imagination (and I’ve been manifesting this hard!). And then it fully exceded all my wildest expectations.

To be in a container with so many empowered embodied women, with so much care put into every detail and feel all the wisdom of the teachers - pure magic.

Thank you so much for all your time & support - I feel like I not only gained so many skills, it felt like a whole upgrade of my system. Plus a whole community of embodied facilitators as a bonus!”

-Mia (Portugal 2023)

β€œUnlike anything I’ve experienced. My unequivocal enthusiasm for conscious dance met the incredible facilitation from Sarsha and Blase and every day unravelled another little piece of my spirit, inching closer to remembering who I am when I embody my wholeness.

Sarsha’s depth of guidance, knowledge of embodiment and beauty throughout is awe inspiring and Blase’s DJ lessons, easy going and gentle spirit as well as his flawless curation of the music throughout are just divinely matched. If you want a true deep dive into your realness, rawness and vulnerability, then these two hold space for all of it. The course was a seamless spirit, dance and sound journey that had the potency to uncover me in ways that nothing else can in quite the same way.

Since completion, I’ve held regular dances in London and and each on is a rich, incredible experience that draws from the experience of the somatic dance team. I can’t wait to see how it all develops”

-Isabell

β€œI have witnessed many practices, but I have never experienced the depth and power of conscious movement so attuned and authentically embodied to each individual’s unique gifts. This training was beyond all my expectations.”

-Sarah Campus

The Somatic Dance training changed my life completely.

Not only was I given the confidence to lead intelligently crafted embodiment journeys, which I am now doing regularly, but I went through a deep process of healing and awakening myself during the 10 days.

It was so powerful that I have now done the training twice and would do it a third time in a heartbeat.

The training helped me to open my voice, find my own unique expression, cultivate new levels of connection to my body, break through blocks that had been limiting me for a long time and truly celebrate who I am.

All while surrounded by the most amazing and supportive humans who provided a safe space for me to surrender to the process.

Sasha’s body of work is extremely profound, and I highly recommend this training to all.”

New Zealand’s Team

Together, they are the lead facilitators for Somatic Dance Teacher Training Level 1, offered in Aotearoa in 2026. They are deeply experienced somatic dance facilitators and DJs, each bringing a rich and complementary lineage of embodied practice to their work.

Between them, they hold decades of experience in conscious movement and somatic spaces, drawing from contemporary dance, freeform and intuitive movement practices, yoga, and breathwork. Their work is further informed by extensive time in ritual and ceremonial spaces, facilitation with cacao plant medicine, sound healing, and meditation.

For over a decade, they have guided hundreds of students and willing participants through transformative somatic dance and sound journeys across community gatherings, retreat environments, and festival settings. All three are qualified 200hr and 300hr somatic dance facilitators and DJs through Somatic Dance International, under the guidance of Sarsha Hope and Stephen Blase.

As a collective, they are devoted to offering their unique gifts, lived wisdom, and frequency medicine in service of embodiment, healing, and human connection.

FAQ

  • Absolutely! Payment plan options are available at checkout. You can also contact us.

  • The retreat centre is called: Yogis Garden. Situated 1 hour drive from Ubud.

The nearest airport is in Denpasar.

You will need to get a GRAB taxi or shuttle. (own expense)

Yogi's garden does provide a driver for a cost that we can organise for you, you would just need to organise a meeting point for them to collect you.  From the airport it is IDR 550k and from UbudIDR 300k.  Even on your own, that is cheap, but way more fun to arrive as a group.

If you haven't already, get the GRAB App for getting yourself around shorter distances, so easy to jump on the back of a scooter with these guys, but you can get a car as well.

We recommend you arrive in ubud / Bali a few days before training starts to settle.

  • For Bali, most travelers from eligible countries, including the U.S., U.K., Australia, and others, can enter visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism purposes. However, this visa-free entry is non-extendable, so you must leave the country by the 30th day or face penalties.

If you think you might want to extend your stay beyond 30 days, you can opt for a Visa on Arrival (VOA), which is valid for 30 days and can be extended for an additional 30 days by applying at an immigration office in Bali. The VOA costs $35 USD and can be paid on arrival at the airport or applied for online in advance for a faster entry process

If you’re staying strictly within the 30 days, visa-free entry will suffice. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your date of entry.

  • Sim Card: You can get that at the airport or I use Airalo when travelling.  It's an App that you can download and buy E-sim cards with, again it will save you time.

You can use cards in Bali but cash is best.  Get cash out at the airport as they don't charge you conversion fees there.  Of course, having a WISE card is also best when travelling to avoid high conversion fees.

  • Yogi’s Garden is situated in the mountains/jungle, and is quite remote. Because of this, we would recommend bringing some snacks with you (of course we provide meals)

Because we are in the mountains, there can be quite a chill in the morning and evenings. Please bring some warm things / shawl / blankets for practice.

Comfortable clothing that you can practice free movement in

     A drink bottle

    A journal and pen
